  • Regina Bypass Traffic Advisory Expect Brief Delays at Night Along Highway 1 East As part of our ongoing construction of the Regina Bypass, motorists can expect brief traffic delays along Hwy 1 at the new Pilot Butte overpass starting Wednesday, June 7, weather permitting.From 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., the westbound lane of Highway 1 will be closed for 15 minutes approximately every hour as our Regina Bypass team moves girders into place for the overpass.   • Emerald Park Road As part of the ongoing construction of the Regina Bypass, access to Emerald Park Road will be temporarily closed to traffic from the morning of Monday, May 15 to late evening, Wednesday May 17, weather permitting.   Our Regina Bypass crew will be repaving sections of Emerald Park Road for the new on and off ramps along Highway 1 East. Traffic detour and variable message signs will be used to direct traffic to the next available exit.  NOTE: This closure was rescheduled from earlier this week due to weather and equipment issues.   • Intersection of the Pilot Butte access on Highway 1 closing on October 18 Regina Bypass would like to advise residents that the intersection of the Pilot Butte access on Highway 1 will be permanently closed on Tuesday, October 18, weather permitting.  Highway access will be redirected to Gravel Pit Road via the new north and south service roads. The speed limit along this route will be reduced to 60 km/h.  The Highway 1 access closure allows the Bypass team to start work on the Pilot Butte overpass, which is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2018.  We thank…

  • Regina Bypass would like to advise residents that the repaving of the Highway 1 – east bound lanes – is targeted to begin Friday morning, weather permitting.Once this works begin, motorists will now travel to and from Regina on the newly paved west bound lanes.   • Repaving of Hwy 364 to begin Saturday Regina Bypass would like to advise resident that the repaving of the Highway 364 is targeted to begin as early as Saturday morning, weather permitting. During the repaving, motorists can expect short delays as flaggers will safely direct the flow of traffic. While one lane is being paved, traffic will be diverted onto the other lane. The repaving work is expected to last until Sunday evening, weather permitting. This work is part of an overall paving project that began earlier this summer and will last until early fall.   • Night Works near Highway 48  As part of the on-going Regina Bypass Project, we will conduct earth works near Highway 48 on a 24-hour basis. The night works are scheduled to start on Monday, August 15, 2016 – weather permitting. This works will involve hauling dirt from our borrow pit and the placement of embankment material to facilitate the construction of the new White City interchange near Highway 48.
