Discovery Pond Revitalization
The Town is revitalizing Discovery Pond!
1️⃣ removing overgrown vegetation around the pond.
2️⃣ adding rock around the pond to stabilize the shore.
3️⃣ installing two aerating fountains in the pond.
🌿The vegetation removal and shore stabilization has started behind the Athletic Field and will progress north around the pond in phases for the next few years.
⛲The two aerating fountains have recently been installed. These fountains will add oxygen to the water, improve the water quality and reduce the mosquito population.
Bonus- offers a decorative element to the pond!
