As of February 1, 2024 the Town has implemented a new program for providing e-notices for taxes & utilities. Notifications will still be sent by email, with a link to sign in to a secure website to view your current notice, payment receipts, utility and tax notices, as well as previous notices (starting from February 1, 2024) and current balances!
Visit https://portal.pilotbutte.ca/ or click here to access the Customer Portal website at anytime.
To sign up for e-Notices rather than mailed paper notices visit https://pilotbutte.ca/e-billing-registration/ to submit the request.
This will need to be done before registering for a Customer Portal account, otherwise you will receive an “invalid customer number/not recognized” message when trying to register on the Customer Portal.
After you have requested to sign up for e-notices with the Town (see above for a link to sign-up), next you can register for an account on the Customer Portal website, at https://portal.pilotbutte.ca/ where you will be able to access your notice documents and account balances.
When the next e-notice is available, you will receive an email notifying you there is a new document available to view on your Customer Portal, with a link to the website, similar to the sample image below for utility notices.
You will need to register for a Customer Portal account to view your notices (utility & tax notices and receipts of payment). For utility notices, the notification email will contain your account number and bill amount for quick reference, but to view the full notice you will need to sign in the Customer Portal.
Before the Customer Portal program was implemented, the e-Notice emails included a PDF of the notice. With the Customer Portal program we use as of February 2024, you will receive an email notifying you a document is available to view on your Customer Portal account, similar to SaskPower or SaskEnergy paperless billing email notifications.
No, currently only one email address under the same customer number can register for a Customer Portal account.
Yes! Once logged in, click on the My Login section on the left side. Change the Login Email to the email of your choice.
No, currently only notices as of February 2024 have been uploaded to view on the Customer Portal. These notices will remain on the account for future viewing/reference. This includes tax notices (current balances and payment receipts as of February 2024 will upload to the Customer Portal but past notices prior to 2024 will not be available on the Customer Portal- please contact the Town Office to request copies.
Balances may take 3-5 business days to update on the Customer Portal after the payment was made due to processing and scheduled system updates.
You can access your Customer Portal on your mobile device. You will need to slide your finger across the screen to adjust the view to see all columns (ie: when trying to view/download utility notices slide your finger from the right to the left side of the screen to show the Download option). There will be future improvements to the program to make it more mobile-friendly for viewing.
