Ed Sigmeth

I continue my third term as councillor in the community, which I have called home since 1983.
Recently retired from a 35-Year plus professional career in Municipal and Provincial Administration and Mentoring, I am able to serve my town and residents.

From my education (B. Admin/B.A. Econ. plus Junior/Senior Local Government Certificates), Saskatchewan Water Operator Certification Board Executive Appointment and UMAAS Division Director Term and Chairman of Urban Board of Examiners, I have been exposed to most Municipal “Best Practices” and a Fiscal Financial Perspective.

Among my past council duties are Deputy Mayor, White Butte Regional Planning Member, RCMP Committee Rep and Regina Bypass Partners Liaison, Asset Management and Spray Park Alternate. Transparency and open communication are my goals.

I am please to work with this council team and staff to endeavor to make Pilot Butte the best that it can be.
