ATV Bylaw 8-2020 – A grace period for enforcement of the ATV Bylaw 8-2020 will be in place until December 31, 2020 in order for a ATV Committee Group be formed that includes community members, council, administration, CSO’s and RCMP and allow the new council time to discuss the Bylaw. The community members will be represented by residents that spoke at the public meeting (an email will be sent to the speakers to see if they would be interested in joining). The community members who agree to put their name forward will be brought forward by administration to the new council. The new council will appoint the community members and also appoint a council member to be part of this committee.
Looking forward to working with the community on this important initiative. The grace period will still enforce ATV banned use on roadways, speeding and stunting which is not permitted.
