Road repairs starting on Monday July 29th
Road repairs are scheduled to start on Monday July 29, 2024. Repairs will be done throughout Town as shown on the map/listed below. Most roads will remain open during repairs, however there may be delays in construction areas. Please plan for a little extra travel time or plan alternate routes to avoid these areas. Below is a list of the construction areas with notes of locations that may experience road closures:
- Railway Avenue
- 1st Avenue/8th Street
- 2nd Avenue/7th Street – POTENTIAL ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AREA – PLEASE PLAN ALTERNATE ROUTES
- 2nd Avenue/6th Street – POTENTIAL ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AREA – PLEASE PLAN ALTERNATE ROUTES
- 4th Avenue/Butte Street – POTENTIAL ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AREA – PLEASE PLAN ALTERNATE ROUTES
- 5th Street/2nd Avenue
- 5th Street in front of the School
- 5th Street/5th Avenue
- North end of 5th Street by Highway 46
- The tennis court
The work is anticipated to complete by mid-end of September.
This construction does not include crack filling- this will be done separately by Public Works.
