The Town of Pilot Butte is excited to announce the successful award of grant funding from the Government of Saskatchewan in support of our “Walk A Butte” project. The installation of 2 new Pedestrian Crosswalks and 2 Electronic Speed Indicator Signs along 5th Avenue. The signs will be placed and activated next week. The Town has identified that we would require a multi-functional approach to improve safety and reduce speed along main arteries in and out of town. The support and funding by the Government of Saskatchewan helps our community achieve our goal objectives and provide safe roadways for our residents.

The “Walk A Butte Project” is a multi-year plan that will be phased in over a number of years. The Town of Pilot Butte will continue to apply for future grant opportunities that support road safety within our community.
