Don't pour fats, oil or grease down the drain
As you prepare your Thanksgiving feast this weekend, remember that fats, oils and grease (FOG) should never be poured down your kitchen sink or drains!
🚫 Pouring grease down the drain can cause buildup and blockages in household plumbing and municipal sewer systems, leading to costly repairs.
✅ Instead, dispose of grease properly:
• Carefully pour cooled fats, oils and grease into a disposable, heat-safe container.
• Allow it to cool and solidify completely.
• Once cooled, place the container in your household garbage.
A little prevention goes a long way! Help keep our homes and Town sewer systems flowing smoothly this Thanksgiving.
