Garbage, Recycling & Composting carts are supplied by the Town through Loraas. Please keep track of the serial numbers stamped on your carts as they are registered to your house. We advise that carts are brought in shortly after they are emptied to ensure they are not damaged or blow away of stormy days and remain at your property.
The Town has created a list of Bin Serial Numbers and the addresses they belong to. This list is designed to help residents ensure they have the right cart after stormy weather and can return any bin that is misplaced.
*Please note: this list is updated on the website annually and periodically throughout the year.
Bin Identification Numbers and Home Addresses 2024
Loraas prefers the carts are not labeled with the property address in a permanent method (writing directly on the cart). Instead Loraas asks if residents wish to label their carts with their address they apply a piece of tape to the cart and write the address on the tape.
Residents will be charged for carts if they are lost, stolen or damaged beyond normal wear and tear (i.e. due to damage from the garbage truck). Cost of replace is $125.00. Please report any significant damage that may attract vermin to the Town Office as soon as you notice.
