Naming/Re-naming or Dedicating of Municipal Property, Buildings & Park Elements
The Town welcomes individuals/organizations to submit naming/renaming of Municipal Property, Buildings & Park Elements. Submissions must follow specific guidelines, as per the Naming/Re-naming or Dedicating of Municipal Property, Buildings & Park Elements policy 09-2023. Naming Principles stated in the policy will be considered when submissions are reviewed for consideration and approval.
Naming Preferences will be considered by the following priorities (in order of preference):

Process of requests:
The 09-2023 Naming Application Form fillable must be completed in full, including all supporting documentation, and submitted to the Town of Pilot Butte Chief Administrative Officer for initial review.
If the Chief Administrative Officer deems the submission is in accordance with the policy, they will provide the submission to the Town Council. If the Chief Administrative Offer deems the submission does not fit within the policy, they will notify the submitting individual/organization in writing of the decision.
Town Council will host a Public Hearing for further review, public consultation, discussion and approval.
