Customer Portal
As of February 1, 2024 the Town has implemented a new program for providing e-notices for taxes & utilities. Notifications will still be sent by email, with a link to sign in to a secure website to view your current notice, payment receipts, balances, as well as previous notices (since your e-notice sign-up date)!
Visit https://portal.pilotbutte.ca/ or click here to access the Customer Portal website at anytime.

How to sign-up for e-notices & the Customer Portal:
1. Sign-up for e-notices online or contact the Contact Town Office
To sign up for e-Notices rather than mailed paper notices visit https://pilotbutte.ca/e-billing-registration/ to submit the request or contact the Town office directly.
This will need to be done before registering for a Customer Portal account, otherwise you will receive an “invalid customer number/not recognized” message when trying to register on the Customer Portal.
2. Registering/Accessing your Customer Portal account
After you have requested to sign up for e-notices with the Town (see above for a link to sign-up), next you can register for an account on the Customer Portal website, at https://portal.pilotbutte.ca/ where you will be able to access your notice documents and account balances.
- You can find your Customer Number on your Utility Notice or contact the Town Office to obtain this.
- Your first e-notice email also will also include a link to the Customer Portal to sign-up/access and contain your Customer Number, which is required to register for a Customer Portal account.
- Please note: It will take up to 24 hours after signing up for e-notices through the Town before you can register for a Customer Portal account. If trying to register before that step is completed an error message will display stating “The provided Customer Number was not recognized. Please, try again.”

You’re all set!
When the next e-notice is available, you will receive an email notifying you there is a new document available to view on your Customer Portal, with a link to the Customer Portal website, similar to the sample image below for utility notices. The email also contains brief details of the notice for quick and easy reference- Account number, Bill Amount, Current Balance, Due Date.

You can sign into your Customer Portal account at anytime to view your current or past notices and balances! Click on “Documents” on the left side tabs or on your Roll Number/Account Number shown in blue font on the Dashboard to view all of your notices and receipts.
