Parking
Town Boulevards
Town Boulevards are provided to residents for the parking of vehicles which are in daily use between the months of May and October. The boulevard is the Town-owned land between the edge of the paved street and your property line. Town Boulevards are never intended for storage of campers, automobiles, trailers, boats, or any other item owned by residents.
Winter Parking Restrictions
Winter parking restrictions are in place from November 1st to April 30th every year. There is a 72 hour restriction on parking on Town boulevards.
- On streets with no curb, there is NO allowance for parking of the pavement at any time.
- On streets with no curb, the boulevard may be used for parking of vehicles in daily use. The 72 hour restriction doesn’t mean that you drive your vehicle around the block and re-park it, it means that you cannot store vehicles on the boulevard during the winter months. The same thing applies to paved streets where there is a curb.
- On any street, where there is or is not a curb, the Town appreciates that vehicles will not be parked either on the boulevard or on the pavement when snowfall is imminent. When operators are cleaning the streets, particularly after heavy snowfall, that snow has to go somewhere, The boulevards serve that purpose.
The Town thanks all those residents who help us out by complying with the law. Please be assured that vehicles which are left on boulevards or on streets may be ticketed and /or towed.
Please contact Town Office for any questions or concerns.
