Did you know?
Your new home may include the header or posts for a deck but that does not mean that a deck was included in your home build. Ask your builder if a deck was included with the original permit. If a deck was not included with the original permit for your new home, you are required to submit a Deck Permit prior to the construction of a deck. The Deck Permit is required to be in compliance with the Town of Pilot Butte Zoning Bylaw. We thank you for your cooperation.
The Town of Pilot Butte has had a new Zoning Bylaw approved by Community Planning. The Town of Pilot Butte is following a new protocol for Building Permits. The Building Permit application will no longer include the A1 Development Permit form. This has been replaced by a new Development Permit application, the submission of which must be accompanied by the Development Permit payment indicated in the form. At this time, the Building Permit application form has not changed (Form A2 and associated pages for PBI). All future applications must be separated into Development Application and Building Application. We will bill for the Building Application as we always have, once the Plan review comes back from PBI. The fee for the Development Application must be submitted with the form- payable in person at the office (cash, debit, credit, cheque) or by etransfer to pbetransfer@sasktel.net – please include “Development permit for ADDRESS” in the message/reference field.
