Bike Rodeo

Get ready—the Pilot Butte Bike Rodeo is back for another year of learning and fun!

Join us for an exciting, hands-on event designed to teach youth important bike and road safety skills in an engaging and interactive environment.

 

Date: Saturday May 23, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Pilot Butte Rink (Dry Floor Arena) and rear parking lot.
please enter at the rear entrance off 1st Avenue, parking is available at the front parking lot only

 

This event will provide an interactive and hands-on approach to address bike safety, but additionally road safety as well, in a fun way for kids to partake in. Youth are invited to bring their bikes and helmets to have Western Cycle complete safety checks. They then will complete an interactive traffic course on the dry floor arena and finish by receiving a “bike license” and some free give-a-ways! There will be bike and road safety information, CAA bike safety resources, activities for the youth to complete along with various traffic themed games.

2025 Bike Rodeo

A Bike Rodeo event was hosted in May 2025 to provide an interactive and hands-on approach to address bike safety, but additionally road safety as well, in a fun way for kids to partake in. Youth were invited to bring their bikes and helmets to have SGI and Western Cycle complete safety checks. They then completed an interactive traffic course on the dry floor arena and finish by receiving a “bike license” and some free give-a-ways! There was bike and road safety information and activities for the youth to complete along with various traffic themed games.
