Utility, Tax, Assessment Notice and Receipt /E-Notice Options
The Town of Pilot Butte offers two ways in which residents can receive their Utility Notice, Tax Notice, Assessment Notices and receipts; by regular mail or by e-notice.
The Town would like to encourage residents to sign up for e-notices and e-receipts. By receiving your Utility, Tax Assessment Notice and/or receipts electronically, the Town saves on the costs of paper, labour and postage and of these postage being the most significant cost. Currently we produce over 9500 pieces of mail annually related to Utility Notices.
If you would like to have your Town related notices and Town related receipts sent by e-notice, please note that a Consent Form must be filled out and returned to the Town Office in order for the Town to process your request. Please refer to the fillable consent form below. By submitting the form to the Town Office, you are agreeing to receive the requested Notices via email/e-notice.
Consent to the use of e-mail for the delivery of municipal notices includes agreement with the following:
Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they contain important information that should be known before subscribing to the e-notice service.
- The utility/tax notices/receipts will be uploaded to the Customer Portal website and an email notification is sent via the e-mail address supplied.
- It is the subscriber’s responsibility to provide the correct e-mail address and to inform the Town of Pilot Butte of any changes to their e-mail address. If you have not received your e-notice notification email by the 10th day of the billing month, please check your junk/spam mail as email providers can send these emails to junk/spam, or please contact the Town Office at (306) 781-4547. Non-receipt is not justification for late payment and penalties will apply.
- Printed copies of your notice can be used to pay at the Town Office, financial institution, online banking, or by mailing a cheque.
When you agree to the terms and conditions of this service, you will no longer receive a paper invoices from the Town of Pilot Butte.
The customer is responsible to pay in full and on time. Failure to receive or loss of utility/tax notice/e-notice email notification will not be accepted as reasons for either non-payment or for exemption of late penalties. For timely payment, please provide your banking institution 3 business days.
Payment Options
Payments can be made at the town office during regular business hours at 222 Diamond Place by cash, cheque, debit, or through OptionPay (for more information on OptionPay click here).
Cheques can be mailed to the Town Office to Box 253, Pilot Butte, SK. S0G 3Z0 with your payment stub. Please do not send cash.
A mail slot is conveniently located along the East Entrance to the Recreation Centre on the South side of the doors.
Payments can be made via internet banking. Please use your correct Utility or Tax Account Number.

- Choose Tax or Utility depending on which you want to make payments to
- Follow the prompts on your internet banking
- For Utilities use the Account Number noted on the top right of your bill using the first 7 digits (if your Account Number is less than 7 digits and your bank requires a full 7 digits you may put 0’s in front) exclude the following 4 digits.
- For Taxes use the Roll Number noted on the top left of your Tax Notice using the first 7 digits (if your Roll Number is less than 7 digits and your bank requires a full 7 digits you may put 0’s in front) exclude the following 3 digits.
