Recycling & Garbage pickup will alternate every Thursday as indicated here – 2023 Collection Calendar
Compost pickup from April to November occurs every Monday. From November to April compost will be pickup on the first Monday of the month.
Garbage, Recycling & Composting carts are supplied by the Town through Loraas. Please keep track of the serial numbers stamped on your carts as they are registered to your house. We advise that carts are brought in shortly after they are emptied to ensure they are not damaged or blow away of stormy days. Bringing carts in also ensures that they are.
The Town has created a list of Bin Serial Numbers and the addresses they belong to. This list is designed to help residents ensure they have the right cart after stormy weather and can return any bin that is misplaced.
Residents will be charged for carts if they are lost, stolen or damaged beyond normal wear and tear (i.e. due to damage from the garbage truck). Cost of replace is $125.00. Please report any significant damage that may attract vermin to the Town Office as soon as you notice.
