Public Hearings and Notices

Public hearings provide residents and interested parties with an opportunity to share comments, concerns, support or other information with Council regarding certain matters being considered by the Town.

Public hearings may be required for matters such as amendments to the Official Community Plan, Zoning Bylaw, development levy bylaws, and certain other planning and land-use matters.

Council considers the information and representations received through the public hearing process before making its decision on the matter.
