Weed & Pest Control
The Town of Pilot Butte is committed to maintaining safe, healthy, and well-maintained public spaces for all residents. Our Weed & Pest Control program focuses on the responsible management of invasive weeds and nuisance pests across Town-owned property, including parks, green spaces, and other public areas.
We take a proactive and environmentally conscious approach to control measures. Weed management is carried out using a combination of cultural, mechanical, and targeted herbicide applications. Herbicides are used sparingly, applied only when necessary, and directed to specific areas to minimize environmental impact and protect surrounding vegetation, pollinators, and community spaces.
In addition to weed management, the Town also undertakes pest control activities to address issues such as gopher populations that can impact safety and damage public lands.
