Upcoming road construction on 5th Avenue
Road work on 5th Avenue, from Lafarge Street to 5th Street, is anticipated to begin August 4, 2026.
The project is expected to be completed in sections, with each section being constructed consecutively. The contractor is currently finalizing the project schedule and construction details.
Additional information will be shared as it becomes available. Property owners and residents directly affected by the work will be notified in advance of construction beginning in their area. Signage indicating road closures and detours will also be posted in advance of construction to help motorists navigate the area safely.
