Community ball diamonds

The Town of Pilot Butte would like to remind residents that the community ball diamonds are designated athletic facilities and are not intended for use as off-leash or undesignated dog parks.

Recently, there have been instances of dogs being exercised on the ball diamonds, as well as individuals using the playing surfaces for personal recreation after the diamonds have been freshly dragged, groomed, and chalked in preparation for Minor Ball activities. These actions can damage field conditions, create additional maintenance requirements, and impact the playing experience for local athletes.

We respectfully ask all residents to refrain from:
• Using the ball diamonds as a dog park or dog exercise area.
• Walking, running, cycling, or otherwise using the infield surfaces after they have been groomed and prepared for play.
