Field of Poppies Wall
𝑭𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒍
With Remembrance Day just a week away, we invite the community to help create a meaningful Field of Poppies wall for the service at the Community Hall. Participants are encouraged to create a poppy (using paper, felt, fabric, knit/crochet, etc.) and submit it on its own or include a brief reflection about what Remembrance Day represents to you, or a dedication in honour of a veteran. All contributions, big or small, are encouraged and appreciated as we come together to remember.
If you wish to participate, please have all contributions dropped off at the Town Recreation Office by 4:00pm on Monday, November 10th.
