Roadwork Season is underway!
We're in road work season! The late spring and summer months provide the opportunity to complete annual maintenance and important infrastructure projects throughout the community. We ask residents to watch for work zones, follow posted signage, and drive carefully and courteously to help keep everyone safe. Residents are also encouraged to watch for Town notifications (Town social media, website and Voyent Alert) and updates regarding current and upcoming construction areas.
Recent and In-Progress Projects
- Curb and road repairs at the corner of 5th Avenue and Hudson Drive
- Road repairs at the corner of 5th Avenue and Crescent Street
Upcoming Projects:
- Crack sealing on various roadways
- Miscellaneous road repairs
- Hillside Gate road repairs
- 5th Avenue from Lafarge to 5th Street revitalization
Residents may have noticed wooden survey markers along 5th Avenue, beginning just before the Lafarge entrance and extending toward 5th Street. These markers are related to one of the Town's major capital projects planned and budgeted for this year, addressing road infrastructure improvements identified through ongoing assessments. The project is currently in the planning stages, with construction anticipated to begin later this summer.
