Gopher Control starting April 22, 2026
Poulins Pest Control will be in town on Wednesday April 22, 2026 for gopher control on Town lands using Rozol RTU, a rodent bait product approved by Health Canada. Small amounts are applied into gopher holes where it is consumed by the gopher. The application will be limited to ‘buffer zones’ or rough turf areas throughout the town along storm channels, and roadway. Areas with recently applied product will be marked with signs and listed on the Town website for reference. Residents are encouraged to take precautions and avoid the areas, particularly with children and pets.

Please note: Strychnine has temporarily been permitted (until end of 2027) for use by farmers in Rural Municipalities, but is NOT permitted to be used within Town. Please be mindful if walking with children and pets in rural areas.
