June is Parks & Recreation Month!
Throughout the month of June, we'll be celebrating Parks & Recreation Month with activities, events, park highlights, and showcases of the many parks, playgrounds, and recreational opportunities that make Pilot Butte a great place to live, play, and connect. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements and plenty of fun throughout the month!
📣To kick off Parks & Recreation Month, we’re excited to announce that Pilot Butte’s parks have officially been named!
This milestone was made possible with the help of our community through the Name the Parks survey, along with the review and recommendations from the Parks, Recreation, Arts & Culture Committee (PRAC) and final approval from Town Council.
The feedback and suggestions shared by residents helped guide and inspire this process. Many residents felt strongly that the park names should reflect Pilot Butte’s history and natural surroundings, and a number of community-submitted suggestions were incorporated.
