Public Hearing March 23, 2026: Notice of Intent to Amend Bylaw No. 02-2023

A Public Hearing for the proposed Bylaw No. 01-2026 will be RE-HOSTED on March 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Town’s Council Chambers.

The Municipality wishes to inform residents that we have received feedback indicating that some households did not receive the letter mailed on February 12 through Canada Post regarding the upcoming public meeting. To ensure that all residents have equal opportunity to participate and remain informed, the Municipality will be rehosting the public meeting on March 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

 

Residents who wish to submit questions, comments, or concerns in advance of the meeting are asked to provide them to the Town Office no later than March 19, 2026. This will allow municipal staff adequate time to review submissions and prepare responses for the meeting.

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure that all residents have access to the information they need. Should you require further clarification, please contact the Town Office during regular business hours.

 

INTENT:
To rezone a portion of the Hillside Park, located on Lafarge Street, from R1 – Single Detached Residential District to R2 – Urban Country Residential District to allow the development of three large Single-Detached dwellings, with one dwelling on each lot. The lands are legally described as Lots 10, 11, and 12, Block/Parcel 29, Plan 86R17347.
