Please do not allow cats to roam free outdoors

We've recently received reports of cats roaming freely throughout Town. To help keep your feline friends safe and neighbours properties respected, please ensure they remain properly contained on your property and are not allowed to roam freely outdoors. Being a responsible pet owner also means respecting your neighbours and their properties, as roaming pets can create damage and leave messes.

Pet Owner Reminders:
🏷️ License Your Pets
Pet licenses help reunite lost pets with their families quickly.
• $25 for neutered/spayed pets
• $50 for non-neutered/spayed pets
Licenses are valid for the lifetime of your pet.

🗑 Clean Up After Your Pets
Please pick up after your pets on both public and private property. Dog waste bag dispensers and receptacles are located throughout Town—let's all work together to keep Pilot Butte clean and beautiful!

🦮 Keep Pets Leashed
Dogs and cats must be on a leash at all times while in public areas and properly contained on your property. This helps protect your pet while ensuring the comfort and safety of residents, visitors, and other animals.

Please note that there are currently no off-leash areas in Town, as the temporary dog park permanently closed on March 30, 2026.
