Icy & slippery winter conditions

Due to winter weather conditions, the roads and pathways are icy and slippery. Public Works is applying a salt/sand mixture, but the winds are causing challenges for this mixture to stay in place and be effective.

Stay safe on icy conditions by:
🚗 Driving slowly & keeping a safe distance
🚶Take extra caution when walking on slippery sidewalks & pathways
❗Obtaining and using the sand/salt mixture available for use on your property and adjacent sidewalk at the Maintenance Shop on Railway Avenue. Please bring a container to obtain the sand/salt.
