Recreation Center & nearby exterior areas limited access May 2-4, 2025

The Recreation Center & nearby exterior areas will be in-use with limited access to the public May 2-4th as they are booked by HD Scent Detection. This group will be hosting a dog sport scent detection competition, where people will be competing with their dogs sanctioned by the Sporting Detection Dogs Association. There will be about 35 dogs present for the competition and areas in use will be marked and barricaded during this time.

The affected areas include:

• The Recreation Center
• Ball Diamond 1
• The outdoor rink
• Recreation Center front and back parking lots

Dates & Times

• Friday May 2: Recreation Centre will be closed to the public as of 5:00pm
  • ** The Town Office and Library are open and accessible on Friday for regular hours.
• Saturday May 3: The Recreation Center & outside areas will be closed to the public between 8:00am-6:00pm.
• Sunday May 4: The Recreation Center & outside areas will be closed to the public between 8:00am-6:00pm.
  • ** The Library will be open & can be accessed on Sunday May 4th 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The Town requests residents please be aware of marked/barricaded areas during these dates.
