⛸ The Outdoor Rink is now open for the 2025/2026 season as of December 29th! 🏒

Outdoor Rink Care & Maintenance and Rink Rules are posted at the rink, available on the Town website under the Recreation Facilities & Sports Fields page and can be referenced below:

Outdoor Rink Care & Maintenance

❄️ The lights are on daily 5:30pm – 10:00pm

❄️ The warm up shack is open:
Weekdays 9:00am – 10:00pm
Weekends 9:00am – 10:00pm
*To promote safe outdoor activities, the warm up shack will NOT be open if the temperature is -27°C or below.

❄️ The ice maintenance will be done on weekdays. The Zamboni floods on the outdoor rink will occur once weekly every Monday. Shovels are available in the shack for residents to clear the ice as needed on weekends

❄️ Use the rink at your own risk

❄️ Helmets are mandatory for children under 12 years of age and strongly recommended for anyone older

❄️ No food, drinks, or glass containers on the ice surface

❄️ No smoking or vaping inside the warm up shack or outdoor rink

❄️ Stay off the ice during maintenance (flooding or snow removal by facility staff)

❄️ Report any hazards or damage to facility staff

❄️ Do not chip or dig into the ice with sticks, skates, or shovels

❄️ Please be respectful of all rink users and share the ice safely and fairly
