European student selling books in Pilot Butte
A University student from Europe stopped by the Town Office today to introduce himself and asked us to share with our residents that he will be in the community selling educational books in early June. Please see Karl's intro/mission below:
Hello, people of Pilot Butte!!
PLEASE SHARE with FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEIGHBOURS!
My name is Karl Riips and I am a University student from Estonia. I visited with the lovely ladies from the town office.
I am going door to door helping families with their education.
I sell educational books & apps with Southwestern Advantage from little babies all the way to the end of high school.
This is my 5th summer working with the Southwestern Advantage company and I am very, very happy to say I have been able to help nearly 1000 families with educational resources.
I DO NOT REPRESENT OR AM AFFILIATED with any of the schools.
It is my summer internship, and this is the way that I get to pay my way through school.
I sell:
1) Study guides that help parents to help kids with math & other subjects.
2) Study guides that help children save time doing homework & tests
3) Fun and educational kids' books from babies till the end of elementary school to give them a head start for preschool and kindergarten.
4) Advanced learning materials that help your child excel in AP classes
5) Bible story books
6) Leadership and life coaching because kids don’t like to listen to their parents :p
When I knock on your door, know that I have an accent, please do not be intimidated by that.
I will be driving a rented vehicle with company magnets on the doors.
