Let's talk ATVs
The Town of Pilot Butte has an ATV Bylaw No. 03-2021 that provides information and requirements for use of an ATV. A few key points from the ATV Bylaw include:
3️⃣0️⃣ No person shall operate an ATV at a speed in excess of 30 km/hr.
🌛💤 No person shall operate an ATV between the hours of 11:00pm and 7:00am in town- please respect our residents and their right to quiet enjoyment of their property.
📝 A Certificate of Registration from the Town must be obtained to operate an ATV. More information and the registration documents are available on the Town website: https://pilotbutte.ca/atv-registration
🚫 ATVs can not be operated on Town parks, reserves, buffer strips, walkways and crown owned land. Signage is posted throughout town, and a map with acceptable service access routes and restricted areas/travel can be found in the bylaw on our website: https://pilotbutte.ca/uploads/dm/16414/Bylaw_32021_ATV.pdf
Please ensure approved ATV helmets and proper eye protection are worn while riding to help protect riders and reduce the risk of serious injury
