For the second year in a row, 9-year-old Romi is organizing her very own Terry Fox Walk in our community to help raise funds for cancer research.

Inspired by Terry Fox’s courage, determination and commitment to making a difference, Romi is inviting friends, family, neighbours and community members to join her for this special event.

Whether you walk, run or cycle, everyone is welcome! Come out, show your support and help Romi reach her fundraising goal. Every step counts, and every donation helps support the important work of the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research.

Join Romi's Terry Fox Walk on Sunday September 20, 2026!

Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026
Meeting Location: Spray Park Gazebo
Meet: 10:30 a.m.
Walk/Run Start: 11:00 a.m.
Route: Approximately 1–2 km around Discovery Pond

Participants are welcome to walk, run or cycle the route.

• T-shirts will also be available for purchase, with proceeds going toward the cause. On-site donations will be accepted on the day of the walk.
