5th Avenue Road Construction Schedule Update
The contractor has revised the construction schedule for 5th Avenue and will be starting Section 2 earlier than originally anticipated, beginning Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The following schedule and temporary road closures will affect properties and homeowners located within Section 2 of 5th Avenue:
• Tuesday, August 18
Asphalt removal will take place, resulting in a temporary road closure as work is completed.
• Wednesday, August 19
Sub-base removal will take place, resulting in a road closure.
• Thursday, August 20
Sub-base will be applied, creating a drivable surface. The road will then re-open for local traffic to access their properties until paving is completed. The paving date is to be determined.
Section 2 residents: Please use Chateau Crescent for temporary parking. Campers and recreational vehicles are requested to park on roads north of Chateau Crescent to preserve parking for residents' regular vehicles. Please move campers/RVs before Section 2 begins to ensure they can be accessed and moved during construction.
♻ Loraas Collection
Coordination will be made with 5th Avenue residents and Loraas to ensure collection can still be completed during construction.
Residents within Section 2 are asked to plan accordingly and follow all posted signage and directions from construction personnel.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change due to weather, site conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
