Parks & Recreation week 2: Chalk the Walks
Join us for Week 2 of Parks & Recreation Month as we Chalk the Walks and fill our parks and pathways with colour, creativity, and positive messages for everyone to enjoy! 🎨
Visit one of our Chalk the Walks stations located in various parks, grab some chalk, and create artwork, positive messages, and fun designs along the pathways.
📍 Chalk stations are available at:
• Meadowlark Park
• Sunset Park
• Sunrise Park
• Silver Sage Park
• Prairie Lily Playground
• Discovery Park
• Heidelberg Park (outside the Library)
• Prairie Lily Field
How to participate:
1️⃣ Use the chalk from a Chalk the Walk station OR borrow a bucket from the Recreation Office.
2️⃣ Create your chalk masterpiece.
3️⃣ Snap a photo and upload it using the QR code provided on the chalk bucket to share your artwork with the community on our Chalk Art Gallery!
📸 Submitted photos may be featured in future Town newsletters and on Town social media channels! 🤩
Please remember:
✔️ Keep artwork positive and appropriate for all ages
✔️ Leave chalk at the stations for others to use
✔️ Return borrowed chalk buckets within a few days
