Public Notice: Notice of Intent to Amend Bylaw No. 02-2023
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Pilot Butte intends to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 02-2023 and adopt Bylaw No. 01-2026, under The Planning and Development Act, 2007.
INTENT: To rezone a portion of the Hillside Park, located on Lafarge Street, from R1 – Single Detached Residential District to R2 – Urban Country Residential District to allow the development of three large Single-Detached dwellings, with one dwelling on each lot. The lands are legally described as Lots 10, 11, and 12, Block/Parcel 29, Plan 86R17347.
PUBLIC INSPECTION: Any person may inspect the proposed Bylaw No. 01-2026 at the Town Office, located at 222 Diamond Place, Town of Pilot Butte, during regular office hours: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the proposed bylaw are available for inspection at the Town Office.
REPRESENTATIONS: The Municipality is open to accepting any representations from the public that state their concerns or comments regarding the proposed Bylaw No. 01-2026. Written, online, or any other representations shall be submitted with your full name and address no later than March 2, 2026, to the Town Office or email to planner@pilotbutte.ca
PUBLIC HEARING: Council will hold a public hearing for the proposed Bylaw No. 01-2026 on March 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Town’s Council Chambers to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw.
