Gopher Control continuing May 2, 2026
Poulins Pest Control will be in town on May 2, 2026 continuing gopher control on Town lands along 5th Avenue ditches East of Butte Street and at the field area in the school track. Poulins uses Rozol RTU, a rodent bait product approved by Health Canada. Small amounts are applied into gopher holes where it is consumed by the gopher. The application will be limited to ‘buffer zones’ or rough turf areas throughout the town along storm channels, and roadway. Areas with recently applied product will be marked with signs and listed on the Town website for reference. Residents are encouraged to take precautions and avoid the areas, particularly with children and pets.
