In reviewing building permit application files, the Town has identified a number of permits that remain open, particularly for projects such as decks, basement developments, and sunrooms.

While many of these projects are likely completed and already in use, the permits remain open because the property owner has not arranged for the required final inspection.

Did you know that your final inspection is already included in the cost of your building permit? By not scheduling this inspection, you could be subject to additional progress report charges of $224.00 per report.

If you've completed a project that required a building permit, we encourage you to ensure your final inspection has been completed so your permit can be officially closed.
